The Course
This Media course has taught me many different aspects of media production such as pre-production and production as well as media theory.
Covered Content
In the course we covered past films that broke the typical production methods like Shifty. This allowed us to have a deep understanding of all methods production. We also covered a wide range of media theories ranging from storyline theory to audience theory to representation theories such as Levi Strauss' theory of binary opposites, Blumler and Katz's theory of uses and gratification or Laura Mulvey's male gaze theory.
